Liturgical Ministry

Liturgical Ministry is a vital part our parish life, welcoming parishioners to actively participate in the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Through these sacred roles, our volunteers help cultivate a deeply prayerful and reverent environment for the entire community.

Holy Roles of Service

• Readers: The Reader gives of their time, treasure and talent to proclaim the Sacred Scripture at Mass during the Liturgy of the Word.  The Reader is entrusted with the Word of God.  Readers are trained to proclaim the Word of God at Mass.

• Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC): The celebration of the Liturgy of the Eucharist on the Lord's Day is the most important part during the celebration of Mass. Communion ministers are trained to assist Father in the distribution of Holy Communion, the Body and Blood of Christ.

Ready to Serve?   Get with our ministry leader to find out when the next trainings are.

Schedules are developed monthly for the Communion Ministers and Readers so the ministers know when to serve.
